Spicy Kimchi Fried Rice with Pork

Ingredients

1 pouch of Grain Trust Organic Jasmine Rice

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 small yellow onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

9 oz. pork loin chops cut into small cubes

1 1/2 cup packed kimchi

1 tsp soy sauce

2 tbsp gochujang (korean red chili paste) or tunisian harissa paste

1 pinch of sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sesame oil

2 eggs, sunny side up

greens onions and sesame for garnish

Directions

1Cook the Grain Trust Rice Organic Steamed Jasmine Rice according to package instructions.

2Over medium high heat, heat the oil in a large pan. Add the onions and fry until translucent. Add the garlic and fry until it softens.

3Move the onions and garlic aside and sear the pork on all sides. Once the pork is almost cooked, turn the heat to high. Add the kimchi and soy sauce and stir well to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes and then add the rice, chili paste and sugar. Stir well.

4Cook for another 2 minutes, and add salt to taste. Mix in the sesame oil at the end. Garnish and serve with a fried egg on top.
