EmailTweet 0 Full-screen Tangerine Almond Rice w/ Seared Pork Chop By graintrust April 12, 2017 Prep: 1 hr Cook: 5 hrs Yields: 2 Servings Ingredients1 quart Padma's Easy Exotic Organic Thai Jasmine Rice8 oz. Canned tangerines (cut in half), save the juice1/2 tsp Grated ginger1 cup Sliced almonds1/2 tsp Minced garlic1 tbsp Chopped cilantro2 Pork Chops(4 oz each butterflied)1 tsp Olive oil Salt and pepper to taste1 Sautepan1 Mixing bowl1 boiler-safe skillet Directions1Preheat oven on 375F.2Heat the broiler-safe skillet on high heat and sear pork on both sides.3Cook rice in microwave for 3 minutes.4Set pork in the oven.5Combine tangerines, cilantro, ginger, and 1 tablespoon of juice in a mixing bowl.6In another pan, saute 1/2 of the tangerine mix and add 1/2 the almonds as well as all the rice on medium heat.7Place rice mixture on one side of the dish.8Remove pork from the oven and set alongside of rice.
